Finally feel like “yourself” again with therapy.

Life doesn’t have to feel this heavy. Individual therapy helps you find clarity, ease, and confidence to face whatever’s next.

Your fresh start begins here.

A lot of people I work with can’t quite name what’s wrong—they just know something feels “off”. It might be anxiety that doesn’t let up, perfectionism keeping you on edge, or past trauma impacting more than you thought. Individual therapy helps you make sense of what’s been weighing you down. In our sessions, we’ll explore how you got here and figure out what’s really behind the overwhelm. We’re not trying to “fix” you. The goal is to help you feel lighter, more confident, and in control of your life.

How therapy can help you feel more in control.

Imagine a life where anxiety doesn’t dictate your decisions and past experiences don’t weigh you down. Therapy helps you understand the “why” behind your challenges and gives you strategies to approach them differently. Over time, you’ll notice shifts in how you think, how you feel, and how you respond to the things that used to feel overwhelming. The end result? A life where you feel more grounded, hopeful, and connected to the things and people that matter most.

What’s getting in the way of your growth?

Individual therapy is a place to explore what’s been holding you back and create space to move forward. Here are some of the challenges I work through with clients:

Trauma

Trauma shows up in ways we don’t always expect—perfectionism, avoidance, or fear. Therapy helps process past experiences so they stop shaping your life.

Anxiety & stress

Anxiety can feel all-consuming. Therapy helps ease those constant worries, giving you space to feel calmer and more grounded day-to-day.

Depression

When life feels heavy and energy is hard to find, therapy offers tools to reconnect with hope and create small but meaningful changes.

Perfectionism

Perfectionism tells you nothing is ever good enough. Therapy helps reframe those stories and build a healthier, more sustainable mindset.

Life transitions

Big changes—career shifts, family dynamics, or personal growth—can feel overwhelming. Therapy helps you process those transitions and feel more secure moving forward.

Feeling stuck

When you’re not really sure what’s wrong but know something needs to change, therapy helps you uncover hidden patterns and create clarity for next steps.

My approach to individual therapy.

EMDR therapy

Think of trauma as a messy ball of yarn catching debris. EMDR therapy helps you process those tangled memories in a safe way, so they stop impacting your present.

CBT therapy

CBT helps unearth what’s behind your thought patterns and teaches you to challenge the ones holding you back, replacing them with healthier, more helpful beliefs.

Attachment-based therapy

How you’ve learned to connect with others—or not—affects everything. Understanding these patterns creates a clearer path to showing up for yourself and your relationships.

Grief Therapy

If you are struggling with grief, relationship changes, or a sense of uncertainty about who you are beyond your past experiences, you don’t have to navigate this alone.

What happens in individual therapy?

Therapy is about understanding your story, processing what’s holding you back, and building tools to create positive change. Here’s what our sessions might look like:

01.

Finding what feels “off”

We’ll start by exploring what’s brought you here—whether it’s anxiety, trauma, or just feeling stuck. Together, we’ll investigate the patterns shaping your thoughts and emotions.

02.

Processing experiences

Using EMDR and other approaches, we’ll work through overwhelming memories or emotions. This helps you clear out what’s unhelpful while holding on to what’s meaningful.

03.

Building skills

Life doesn’t come with a guidebook, but through our therapy journey, we’ll build a set of tools, strategies, and healthy habits that help you manage life’s ups and downs.

Want to move forward? I’m ready when you are.

Therapy gives you the space and tools to grow into the life you want. Take the first step now.

Have questions about individual therapy?

If you’re considering therapy for anxiety, trauma, depression, or something else, you probably have questions. Here are detailed answers to some of the most common ones people ask:
How long does individual therapy take?
The timeline for therapy is different for everyone. Some clients come with a specific goal in mind, like processing trauma or managing anxiety, and work with me weekly for 3–6 months. Others continue longer, especially when going through life transitions or addressing deeper patterns. You’ll start seeing small changes along the way, and together, we’ll decide the pace that feels right for you.
Each session is a space where you can show up exactly as you are. We’ll start by talking about what’s on your mind that week—whether it’s a specific issue, a challenging memory, or something that just doesn’t feel right. Depending on your needs, we might focus on processing emotions through EMDR, reframing unhelpful thoughts with CBT, or exploring deeper patterns like attachment styles.
I describe EMDR as untangling a messy ball of yarn. Trauma can feel like it’s all knotted up in your mind, with each memory pulling at the others. EMDR uses guided techniques to help process those memories in a safe, structured way. Instead of feeling stuck in the past, you’ll find clarity and freedom to move forward. It’s especially effective for trauma but can also help with anxiety and other overwhelming emotions.
CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is all about understanding the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Sometimes, our thoughts can drive us into cycles that don’t serve us—like perfectionism, fear, or self-doubt. CBT helps identify those patterns and challenge them. For example, if your inner voice says, “I’m not good enough,” CBT helps you reframe that thought into something healthier, more supportive, and more true to who you really are.
Absolutely. Anxiety and depression often feel like a constant weight on your shoulders. In therapy, we’ll explore what’s fueling those feelings—whether it’s unprocessed trauma, unhelpful thought patterns, or life stressors. Using approaches like CBT and EMDR, I’ll help you develop tools to manage your emotions, ease the overwhelm, and rebuild a sense of calm and hope.
Not at all. A lot of clients come to therapy saying, “I don’t know what’s wrong—I just know something feels off.” Therapy is a space to figure that out together. Maybe it’s a past experience you haven’t fully processed, patterns you’ve fallen into without realizing it, or emotions that feel too big to name. You don’t need all the answers to start therapy.
Yes, therapy is a confidential and judgment-free space. Everything you share stays between us, with only a few exceptions for safety—like if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others. My priority is creating a space where you feel safe and supported, knowing you can talk openly about whatever’s on your mind.
